Dilin Duwa Regional Business Series

The Dilin Duwa Regional Business Series is a collective program to strengthen local and regional Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander businesses. Through a shared approach, the Regional Series program celebrates and encourages Indigenous business and complements local initiatives.

Regional Series Programs

The Regional Series is delivered across Australia. An open and free event, The Series is a way to connect with like-minded businesspeople, supporters and partners. These workshops provide practical skills for people who want to establish and grow their businesses.

Our speakers and team represent communities from across the Country, all with a keen eye on business and working with others to advance firms and Aboriginal business in general.

Check our recent Regional Business Series in Rubibi - Broome and Mparntwe - Alice Spring in the videos below to get an idea of what it’s all about.

Dilin Duwa Regional: vision

Dilin Duwa Regional is a vehicle to increase access and democratise business education to the regional business sector of the Indigenous economy. A co-designed agenda with local businesses and community organisations ensures the programming complements and celebrates local initiatives and thought leadership.

Dilin Duwa Regional is designed to:

  • Enhance locally driven conversation

  • Prioritise regional to regional Indigenous facilitation

  • Expand networks and national connections

  • Complement and support local initiatives and areas of focus.

How it works:

  1. With ongoing conversations with local stakeholders Dilin Duwa works to match local interests and needs with MURRA Indigenous Business Masterclass alumni expertise.

  2. The program runs over three streams: mini-masterclasses in strategy marketing and leadership; business actions for now; and community & business futures.

  3. Members of the wider community who support local Aboriginal business are encouraged to attend the Regional Series and utilise the opportunity to share their work and role in the ecosystem.

  4. We support local businesses and communities to showcase Indigenous business excellence

  5. Participants can join the Dilin Duwa Online Community and remain connect with each other while enjoying open access business learning online resources and videos to keep the vibe going!
