Graduate Certificate of Indigenous Business Leadership

Enabling Indigenous business sector practitioners to build on their own leadership and business knowledge.

Led by a team of Indigenous academics, the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Business Leadership (GC-IBL) is designed to empower Australian and international First Nations Peoples business leaders to navigate their leadership journey while staying true to culture within colonial systems.

This course will provide you with the tools to navigate the cultural, community and individual demands of leadership. It is delivered in a safe online learning environment, which empowers Indigenous business sector professionals to delve into the tensions that arise between commercial, community, organisational and cultural drivers.

This course is designed for Indigenous business owners, managers and professionals, as well as aspiring Indigenous academics, and graduates of the MURRA program looking to continue their educational journey.

Master of Indigenous Business Leadership

Providing established practitioners with skills to lead in public, private, not-for-profit and academic spaces.

The Master of Indigenous Business Leadership (MC-IBL) is the first fully Indigenised postgraduate program designed specifically for Indigenous business leaders.

This course builds on the Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Business Leadership for those seeking to continue their education journey with a choice to elevate your practice based leadership or to develop research skills in the discipline of Indigenous business and leadership. As with the Graduate Certificate, the course is provided online.

This course is designed for Indigenous business owners, professionals and managers at different stages in their careers. Students interested in exploring a career in research leading towards a PhD are encouraged to discuss this further with the program coordinator.
