Dilin Duwa Regional Series 2022
Dilin Duwa Regional is an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander regional business education initiative that draws on our experience from delivering the much-respected MURRA Indigenous Business Masterclass program over the past 10 years. Through our partners we have the opportunity to take the Dilin Duwa network of faculty out of Naarm/Melbourne and our regionally-based national alumni network on the road to provide accessible business education that speaks to the needs of community, individuals and businesses.
Our approach is focused on collaboration, yarning about the ideas, opportunities, and challenges for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander businesses in the local area, and co-designing a 3-day program that utilises our resources, incredible faculty, and extensive network. We intend for Dilin Duwa Regional to create a space that encourages regional and local business education, led by Indigenous facilitation, which compliments local initiatives targeted toward economic self-determination.

The Dilin Duwa Online Series
Corresponding with Indigenous Business Month, the Dilin Duwa Regional Online Series hosted seven virtual events throughout October 2021. These events brought leaders from across the country together to strengthen business through interactive workshops and opportunities to yarn about Indigenous business with international thought leaders.
Sharing knowledge for a stronger sector.
Sharing Knowledge
We bring our experience and network to the table to co-design sessions that are culturally responsive, interactive and create spaces to share and develop ideas, both during the session days and in the lead up.
We aspire to showcase and nurture Indigenous led facilitation and teaching. The sessions will provide the opportunity to work with fellow Indigenous business leaders while also scouting and supporting local future facilitation talent. Our team has worked on a number of programs that have prioritised co-designed principles, met the varying needs of stakeholders and provided ground-breaking facilitation that takes an Indigenous standpoint to business development.
Through over ten years of running the MURRA Indigenous Business Masterclass we have an extensive network of over 200 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander business leader alums. Throughout this journey we have grown our network to include facilitators, academics, government and corporate leaders who share our vision for an economically powerful Indigenous Australia.
Our network and our experience bring together resources that speak to the needs of the Indigenous business sector and advance the conversation about possibilities and future directions.
The Dilin Duwa Centre of Indigenous Business Leadership is an Indigenous led space within the University of Melbourne that prioritises culture, connection and the shared success of our sector.
Our approach
Dilin Duwa Regional Series convenes meaningful conversations to co-design program offerings that speak to the interests and needs of regional Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander businesses.
By bringing regional stakeholders together to talk business the Dilin Duwa Regional series is designed to assist in the development of communities of practice with Indigenous businesses.
